How It Works

  1. Upload a PDF, DOCX, TXT, or Markdown file using the Upload page.
  2. The system parses, chunks, and embeds your document using OpenAI embeddings.
  3. Go to Chat and ask a question — the system retrieves the most relevant passages.
  4. Anthropic Claude generates a grounded answer with [Source N] citations.
  5. Expand the citations panel to see exactly which passages were used.
